Become a Cheshire Freemason
Becoming a Cheshire Freemason means you’ll be joining over 3,500 members throughout Cheshire.
Membership is open to any man over the age of 18 irrespective of their race or religion. We have 230 Lodges & Chapters, with students able to join our University Scheme Lodge. Women are invited to join one of two female-only Grand Lodges: The Order of Women Freemasons and Freemasonry for Women.
Like every journey, you need to take the first step to become a Cheshire Freemason. A step that takes you through a voyage of discovery, not just about Freemasonry, but also about yourself.

Tradition and continuity are two of the values which characterise the relationship between Freemasonry and universities. We have 87 University Lodges, consisting of undergraduates, postgraduates, senior members of the university and alumni, ranging in age from 18 upwards.
