TLC
Adam Jones is new to Freemasonry and is due to be raised next month, but he is certainly already making an impact for his Lodge.
When Adam’s nephew had recently visited hospital with a broken collar bone, he was given a bear during his visit to help cope with the stressful time. TLC Cheshire’s representative, Michael, instantly recognised it as a TLC bear and explained to Adam how Freemasons help distribute the teddies to children’s A&E hospitals. Adam immediately knew he had to get involved with fundraising for TLC after seeing the joy our teddy brought to his nephew.
That’s just what he did! On 21 April, Adam ran the London Marathon to raise money in support of Teddies for Loving Care. But he decided to go one step further and run the race in a TLC bear suit!
Adam has completed numerous marathons to raise money for charity and has even run 100 miles in one day. We’d like to thank Adam for his incredible fundraising effort.
