Sandbach Pantry
The Sandbach Pantry was set up in October 2022 in response to the cost of living crisis.
The Pantry provides a hub where people can access discounted food whilst also finding a warm space, free refreshments and an opportunity to chat with other people and volunteers, and also be signposted to other services when needed.
As Cheshire Freemasons we’re delighted to be able to support such a wonderful organisation, recently donating £2,500 to the Pantry – £500 from Saxon Crosses Lodge, £500 from Samaritan Chapter, and £1,500 from the Cheshire Freemasons’ Charity.
The Pantry is open at the Wesley Centre in Sandbach every Thursday 10am to 3pm, and 6 to 7pm, and since starting up, they’ve had almost 2,000 visits and have helped to feed over 4,000 people.
