Based in Crewe, Cheshire Without Abuse (MyCWA) helps victims of domestic abuse across Cheshire escape and break the cycle of violence. The charity provides a whole-family service, offering support to both adults and children impacted by domestic abuse, along with behaviour interventions for those who harm.

“The work the Charity does is nothing short of remarkable” said Senior Cheshire Freemason Chris Renshaw who presented a £5,000 donation on behalf of local members, to support MyCWA with their work. Chris continued, “It was humbling to both see and hear from the workers and volunteers just how they will ensure the donation positively impacts domestic abuse survivors and their families, helping them to continue to provide essential resources and support during challenging times.”

Saskia Lightburn-Ritchie, CEO of MyCWA, expressed her gratitude, saying, “It is thanks to donations like this, that we are able to do what we do and it was wonderful to be able to show Chris and the team some of the services the donation will help fund when they visited our support centre. Support from the local community is vital to our work and we are grateful for the Cheshire Freemason’s compassion and willingness to help us to help those in need.
