A young carer is defined as a child aged 6-18 who cares for a family member they live with. Cheshire Young Carers helps to give them a childhood in three key areas: school holiday respite programmes, individual & group support and working closely with schools and colleges to provide specialised ongoing support.

Cheshire Young Carers is funded principally by private donations, which is why Cheshire Freemasons were delighted to provide funding to help towards the recent objectives of the charity.
