Dougie Mac, the affectionate name for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in North Staffordshire.

Since 1973 Dougie Mac have continued to develop a range of supportive treatments to anyone with a palliative illness, not just cancer – but this is difficult as an independent Hospice with a high reliance on external funding and support.

This is not just about Provincial donations – but on this occasion a donation made by a single Cheshire Lodge (Samaritan No. 368 based in Sandbach) received enhanced funding, optimising the donation made to the Charity simply by the Lodge completing a form.
